Audra Martin is employed by our Water Quality Division as project director of the Commission's efforts that concern wetlands and the Long Island Sound Study. Her many responsibilities involve coordinating NEIWPCC Wetlands working groups that bring representatives from federal and state agencies together with other people for discussions on common concerns. The New England Biological Assessment of Wetlands Workgroup is just one of several regional groups in the United States which are striving to develop better the methods of monitoring and assessment for wetlands.
